Potable Water Tank Inspections
What we do
Affordable potable water tank inspection without the need to drain millions of litres of water, especially considering South Africa’s scarce water resources and the impact it has on the environment, not to mention the financial cost implication and unnecessary down time and associated risk to life and asset.

Tank Inspections
Legal and Insurance Compliance
TankTek (PTY) Ltd. has a team of professional, Internationally trained SCUBA Divers, equipped with the knowledge and tools to inspect any potable water reservoir tank.
TankTek will dive your water reservoir on SCUBA to provide you with video and photographic footage of the internal condition of your water tank, highlighting any pitting, rust and corrosion in accordance with SANS 10287 and rules as set out in the ASIB 10th and 11th addition, without the unnecessary cost of draining your reservoir at a huge financial and environmental expense.
In addition, we will complete an assessment of the exterior condition of the tank, taking special note of corrosion and all welded joints and the overall structural integrity of the vessel.
Random Ultrasonic Testing will also be conducted on the thickness of the vessel walls to ensure compliance and structural integrity as per manufacturers specification and SABS standards.
A comprehensive report will then be submitted to yourselves, stating effective working capacity of the tank as well as the condition of internal and external walls and vortex inhibitor (if fitted), tank level indicators and valves.
